Hello! My name is Julia. I’m a NYC-based cosplayer of 10 years, and I’ve been competing in competitions and running prop and costume commissions for 4 years now. Costuming is what I live and breathe, and I adore making anything involving corsetry, beading, painting, and intricate details. As a recent graduate from Parsons, I’ve grown a love for mixing couture with cosplay, putting professional touches on the nerdiest outfits. I regularly host workshops and community events as the cosplay rep at Manhattan Wardrobe Supply, teaching all kinds of cosplay skills from EVA foam armor to beginner sewing techniques. Everything I do is focused on honoring the members of this community and legitimizing cosplay within fashion and costume spaces. So excited to be judging the Saturday Cosplay Competition and hosting a corsetry workshop this year at Flame Con!
