This interactive workshop explores the history of LGBT Representation in Comic Books, in a way that is geared toward youth. We will discuss the Comic Book Code, various LGBT characters in major labels like Marvel and DC, as well as look at the trailblazing independent labels. Participants will have the opportunity to create their own LGBT comic book character during the presentation.
