Using techniques from speech language pathology, dialect work, music, and more, Queer Vox (the nonprofit academy & community for LGBTQIA+ voice actors) has developed a crash course in exploring the elements of your voice, finding the ones that feel most aligned with your gender (or the gender of the character you wish to play), and then attaching stereotypical gender labels to them to easily navigate what casting "is looking for." Led by Queer Vox board members Florence Wilder (President) and Allegra Verlezza (Outreach co-chair).
