Description:
Writing, performing, and art-making can be powerful and healing channels for self-expression when coming out as a queer or trans person. This workshop, built off the Neo-Futurist approach to autobiographical writing for the stage, offers a toolkit for that self-expression—whether you’ve been out for 30 years or 30 days. Come put pen to paper and leave with a new, original piece of writing inspired by your unique lived experience.
Your instructor is Lee LeBreton, experimental theatre-maker and Neo-Futurist, who has worked in new play development for Off-Broadway and with Pulitzer- and Tony-winning playwrights.
