What is the point of shipping? Is the goal for our preferred couple to end up together, or can ships be enjoyed despite (or in spite of) a writer's decisions? We'll discuss the role that canon plays in fandom spaces, consider some reasons why queer ships are so rarely canonized, and explore why it's so appealing to ship characters who will never be endgame. In this panel, everything's made up and the lore doesn't matter!
