Anja Keister has been performing burlesque since 2010 and is most known for founding and producing her Nerdlesque group D20 Burlesque, which has been running themed shows in NYC since 2011 while also bringing large scale productions to DEXCON, Gen Con, the Escapist Expo, and more. Anja has also co-produced Totally 90’s Trivia, Dungeons & Drag Kings and has been on the production team of The Nerdlesque Festival which celebrated it’s 5th year in 2019. During her time in the Nerdlesque and Burlesque world, Anja has worked with Welcome to Night Vale, The McElroy Brothers, Double Fine Adventure, the Mountain Goats, and Homestar Runner to produce tributes to their properties. On the convention circuit, Anja moderated panels on women in gaming at PAX East, PAX Prime and the Escapist Expo. She has also spoken on panels at the CLAGS Queers in Comics conference and been invited to lecture at numerous college.
Petra Fried is New York City’s “dad-joke of drag!” Petra combines classically trained live singing, lip syncing, fandom and cosplay, irreverent humor, burlesque, and celebrity impersonation to create unique storytelling experiences for the Queer community and beyond.
Petra holds fan favorite titles from Miss Boots and Saddle, 2016, Sing Queen, 2015, and has been nominated for the 2016 Go! Magazine Nightlife Awards in the category of NYC’s Favorite Drag Queen, and for the 2018 Glam Awards in the category of Best Vocalist.
Heather Glittystarlet has been dancing and performing since childhood. In 2015 she started incorporating flow and fire arts into her dancing, with props such as poi, fans and hula hoop. Heather Glittystarlet and Darcie D’Hoops have been collaborating together since 2018, and are very honored and excited to be part of Fire Ball performances celebrating Flame Con.
Darcie D’Hoops has been practicing the dance art of flow since 2013, with props such as hula hoop, poi and fans. In 2014 she started practicing fire arts, and began performing with both LED and fire. In 2018 Darcie D’Hoops began collaborating with Heather Glittystarlet, and is very honored and excited to be part of the Flame Con’s Fire Ball performances.
Twinky Boots is known as the perpetually youthful bad apple of Boylesque. He is the 2018 NYC Glam Award winner for Best Burlesque, Prince of New Jersey Burlesque and the cofounder of Members Only Boylesque. He got his burlesque start dancing alongside the sexiest bodies on Broadway in Broadway Bares a charity burlesque show benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
Crystal Frasier is known for her frequent text contributions to the Pathfinder, Starfinder, Mutants & Masterminds, and Modern AGE roleplaying games, as well as her work writing the Pathfinder: Spiral of Bones comic series, co-writing State of Decay 2, and illustrating the Secrets of Cats roleplaying game. Excitable and easily confused, she lives in the Pacific Northwest under the watchful auspices of her corgi, Calamity.
D.J. Kirkland is a comic book artist based out of the San Francisco Bay Area. He graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) with a BFA in Sequential Art. His style has been best described as a hybrid of anime and American Saturday morning cartoons from the 90’s. He is best known for his work on the Dream Daddy comic series and his upcoming debut graphic novel, The Black Mage that is set to release in October.
Josh Trujillo is a writer, and game designer based in Brooklyn. He created the inclusive sports comic DODGE CITY, as well as the tabletop gaming anthology DEATH SAVES. He has told stories for Marvel Comics, DC Comics, Boom! Studios, Oni Press, The Nib, Telltale Games, and Zynga, among others. Trujillo’s work has been featured in the Eisner award-winning LOVE IS LOVE, as well as the Ringo! Award-winning MINE!
