Richard Ruane is a Philadelphia-based tabletop RPG creator and founder of R. Rook Studio. His work includes Moonlight on Roseville Beach, which won an ENnie Award in 2023, Dark Design in Verdigris, Sherwood, My Chivalric Bromance, Barrow Keep, and the forthcoming Silver Age. In addition to running R. Rook Studio, he’s the ops wizard at Plus One EXP, where he also works on developing and producing new projects. He was previously a copyeditor for White Wolf Publishing and a writer for the romance comics series Young Bottoms in Love, and created the short-lived Two Shy Guys comics series with his friend J. Brett Hopkins.

He is also the writer of Steven Universe comics for Boom, and Rick and Morty comics for Oni Press. His original graphic novels are Dead Weight: Murder at Camp Bloom, Hotel Dare, Lifetime Passes, and Eat Your Heart Out, all of which feature queer and Mexican characters. He wrote the Marvel series: Reptil: Brink of Extinction, Nova, and Runaways as well as Wonder Woman and Vixen for DC comics. He graduated from PNCA in 2010 with a degree in Illustration.

Sara Gómez Woolley is an award-winning Latina illustrator, graphic novelist, and educator based in Brooklyn, NY. Her clients include National Geographic, DC Comics, Image Comics, Scholastic, and Random House.

Her ongoing project, Esperancitaʼs Mostly True Memoir—a fictionalized graphic memoir created in collaboration with her mother and art partner, Leila Gómez Woolley—was awarded by the National Association of Latino Arts and Cultures and is slated for publication by Lee & Low Books in 2026.

Sara was selected by the U.S. State Department to represent the nation at the Festival International de la Bande Dessinée dʼAlger (FIBDA) in Algeria, where she served as a cultural ambassador and head juror for the international cosplay competition. FIBDA, with over 130,000 attendees, is the largest comics festival in the Middle East and Africa.

She is a tenured faculty member in the Communication Design Department at New York City College of Technology, CUNY, and teaches in the Biography and Memoir program at the CUNY Graduate Center. She is proud to serve on the Board of Directors of the New York Society of Illustrators.

In 2020 Archie got a gay watersports joke into the New Yorker, thus completing all their life goals.

Ren Strapp is a comic artist, designer, and gender nonconforming lesbian werewolf. She grew up in Susquehannock territory and now lives on unceded land at the confluence of the Wimahl and Willamette rivers. Ren started her comics career in zines and web comics and will be a zinester until she dies. Her work is inspired by risograph printing and American traditional tattooing.

Her debut graphic novel HOW COULD YOU is all about making mistakes, being messy, and stumbling into adulthood.

Among many things, they are known for their work as Roy in Pokémon Horizons, Alma in Monster Hunter Wilds, Kiruko in Heavenly Delusion, and Lemon in Mashle: Magic and Muscles. You can also hear them in Jujutsu Kaisen (Yuki Tsukumo), Genshin Impact (Dori), Honkai Star Rail (Sushang), Heaven Official’s Blessing (Shi Qingxuan), and much more! As a writer, Anjali contributed to the upcoming Date Everything!, releasing June 17.
